If you bought a laptop recently then go to the seller and replace the laptop with a new one. Alternatively you can buy External DVD Rom or Burner for less than $100 but it will be not convenient for you in long run. If you did not like either of above options then create an ISO image of Microsoft Works (ask you friend for a favor) and save into a USB, download "daemon tool lite". Daemon Tool can run ISO same as CD/DVD and you will be able to Install it. Thanks
Hi, click to open your Computer; check to see if there's a DVD RW Drive (D:) in the Device with Removable Storage area. If the area is (Blank); Go to: Start, as in Log-off, click all Programs; scroll for a Media Disk Player. You made need to (Setup) your player. From either point you should be able to fix the problem. Thanks paul7of9
okay u need the installation disk or a copy of one at least it seems the HP download server has been corrupted i had problems on a reinstall NOV/19/08 when i allowed the install program to contact server for updates. when i chose not to contact server the program installed correctly and i have not had a problem yesterday or today try to download a torrent of the cda_Express file and use that as your installation disk. if u dont know what a torrent is read up online about them and then try to find your disk through utorrent or bitcomet both of those are programs used to download torrents. frostwire can be used for torrents as well pretty straight forward if you know a little about software and downloading. best of luck the only other solution would be to order a new installation cd
Click on this link. Pick your operating system & download your drivers. http://downloads.lexmark.com/cgi-perl/downloads.cgi?ccs=229:1:0:435:0:0
To be honest if your driver software was running before you had the CD burner repaired you should not need to re-install Your printer. However if you think you need to re-install please uninstall previous software. Open control panel, open Add /Remove Programs. Find your Printer & un-install it. Re-start your Pc & hook up your printer & re-install the software.
We at FixYa try to help people. So if there was a problem with your CD burner why would any repair site need your whole computer including your printer? You don't need to answer that.
The average CD burner, brand new runs between $20.00 & 30.00 & I'm showing a DVD/RW burner that also burns CD's.
