Re: How to remove/install door handles
They "simply" lift off and the new ones will "snap" back into position.. sarcastically say simply, but that is in fact howe they come off you will need to lift the m up and with some considerable force i might add.and grab with 2 hand s and lift!!!!!!!

This is generic because you did not include the make and model number. Had you provided that info we most likely could have provided you with the installation instructions that would show you exactly what to do.
Having said that... To release the plastic on the top of the TOP hinge use a butter knife on top of a putty knife so you don't dent or scratch the top. Gently lift in and outward and upward direction and it will come right off. Of this us a 2 horizontal swing door model the center hinge is inverted on the opposite side. Sometimes the lower hinge is also inverted. Other times you have to remove the hinge pin and place it on the other side of the hinge bracket. It is not a difficult task but it sure is helpful to have 2 people when installing the larger door. What ever you do leave the pliers off the job / at least away from the refrigerator. You might need them to switch the lower hinge pin installed position. The door handle usually on the lower portion (Screw part) may have a plastic insert covering the screw that you can gently remove with a small knife blade prying around the edges if the insert piece. Other handles it is exactly the opposite of what you stated... you slide the handle DOWN to expose the mounting screw.
If you need more help please include your make and model number and I will do my best to find exact model installation instructions for you.
there arent any real solutions outside of some auto body repair shops have a suction cup dent puller that might help. most of these doors have a molded foam isulation inside that prevents you from getting to the inside of the door panel to push a dent out. even if you could it would be a rough job . you would have to remove the inner door liner including lots of screws, if the inner door liner isnt molded to the outer door panel. so unless you know someone that works in a body shop, the only real option is to replace the panel, which wont be cheap and i would suggest having a tech install it because if you damage it while installing it, that would be on you and the parts company probably wouldnt replace it for free. Good luck!
The door handles mount on hex bolts sticking out of the door, the door handles have key hole inserts that match with the bolts. The door handles are then slid in one direction to lock the handles in place. Removal is the reverse. To tighten the door handle screw the bolt out enough that you can still put the handle over the bolt heads and slide the handle to lock the handle in place.
Sorry, but almost all refrigerator doors now use foam insulation and come as one assembly, outer panel, inner panel, and foam. You change the gasket and the handle, but that's about it. (ps. Good info = "fix ya" rating)
