I take it that this is a standard power supply out of a PC (switch mode)
These are a common connection point on any brand PC
Use a DC Voltmeter to find the Ground, +5 Volt & +12 volt wires to power your 3.5 inch Hard Drive. The 2.5" Hard Drives (laptop) has only Ground (Black) & +5 Volt.
Hi! l have have the same problem whit the Asctec model AA23160 power supply. But l need to know how many time your power supply worked: How many time do you use it? Thank's!
Actually i haven't fixed the problem as yet but i did find some info that would help me to fix problem. I went to google and entered keyword,,, Electronic parts,,there came up a page,,and i went to several manuf sites till i found a replacement transformer,,then i disassembled the power supply and am now waiting for a replacement transformer.
more than sure if you have replaced the power supply already and the computer still not working, there must be a electrical damage to the board. it is sure that.but you have to check some other components too seeing that they are stuck in the board, like the procesor and ramm dims or the video card..the electrical charge may have affect them too. but 1st thing to do is to change the mainboard.. oh by the way...just to be sure..try to make a bios reset..maybe it will work and pull out the ramms from the computer..put them back after...ussualy this works... good luck and let me know about bye
