I have the Brewstation 47334. The black plastic "carafe" has split under the edge of the metal hotplate and leaks. Hamilton Beach says the part number is 990021600 and costs $12 plus $7.79 S+H plus state sales tax. Hamilton Beach will replace under warranty if you ship them the pot and dated sales receipt.

Hamiliton Beach Brew Station needs the water tank where can i purchase this item.

  • Anonymous Feb 02, 2009

I have 2 of these coffee makers. The tank leaked-I threw it away. HB told me it's a small seal-they charge almost nothing for it. But too late for me since I threw the tank away already. I love the coffee makers but have replaced the tanks on both units at least once-under warranty-now out of warranty-they want almost $25.00 for the tank-you can't buy them in stores. They should sell the tanks in stores. Plus-guess they're changing the style this month anyways. Maybe the new ones won't leak.

Might want to call to assure this will work in your model Brewstation.
This vendor is in canada. $9 CDN is cheap enough.

This isn't a calcium issue. It's the product. I'm on my 5th machine. I love the coffeemaker, but every 8-10 months this problem occurs. Contact Hamiltonbeach and give them your product number. Since it's obviously a recurring problem they'll replace your questions asked.

The coffee just dribbles out of the canister when bar is pressed instead of pouring out like before.

The plumbing is clogged and needs cleaning. Follow the instructions of the unit for thorough cleaning. Think it involves the use of a vinegar solution that you pipe thru the system.

Hamilton Beach brew station dispenses very slowly. I have cleaned it twice but still takes a long time to fill a cup!

Try to have a look whether there is a limestone layer built up on the element.
That will slow it down, while most probblems will stop it alltogether.
Remove by leaving white vinegar in it overnight.

Hamilton beach brew station leaks water all over when filling the coffee maker - no problem once the coffee is brewed...why is the water leaking???

chances are, you're filling the machine up with too much water. look at the water resivoir and see if there's a hole somewhere toward the top or a marking indicating the water limit.

Brew station is extremely slow, suspect it needs cleaning.

You can run a cup of vinegar through the machine. Run it just as you would making coffee, except without the coffee. Run water through the cycle at least twice to remove sediment and the vinegar. Works like a charm.

Hamilton beach brew station spring problem

The spring goes at the top of the stem, under the filter basket. This keeps tension on the basket, so it will pop up when you remove the cover.

We have a hamilton beach brew station Model 47114 and have enjoyed it, but it leaks. We brew the coffee and return to a mess on the kitchen counter. I threw it in the garbage today, but fished it out...

I had the same problem with mine when it was brand new. I called Hamilton Beach and told them what the problem was and they sent me out the new parts to fix it. It was actually the rubber gasket that was causing mine to leak. Hope this helps.
