I lost the control remote where I get a new one

Hey, you really have two choices in this situation:
1) Go to your local department store (Best Buy, Walmart, or Target), and go to the electronics section and find a Universal Remote.
2) If you don't want to go through that hassle, you can actually by the original remote that you lost again. This option is a little more expensive, but will work right away. Check out a site like http://www.remotecontrolhookup.com to hopefully find what you need. The older your unit is, the less likely you'll be able to find it even from a site like this, but it's worth a shot!

You should have a wire on the harness labeled Parking Brake (or similar). This wire needs to be connected at the parking brake....or to a toggle switch. It needs to sense a ground after the radio is powered on in order to play DVDs.
