Question about Motorola Mobility MOTORAZR2 V9 Cellular Phone

10 minutes into call, listener cannot hear caller

My wife has been complaining about the new V9 thru AT&T, according to her 10-12 minutes into one of her long calls, her friends (various of them) complain they cannot hear and the sound is faded... this goes for about couple of minutes. Has anyone experienced similar thing? Any resolution / suggestion?

    I, too, am having the same problem! The cell is awesome, EXCEPT for the fading in and out. I can hear the others perfectly (Crystal Talk?). My V9 is unlocked and T-Mobile is my service carrier. If you ever figure out what is going on, let alone a solution, please let me know at tigmat17@aol.com! Thanks!!!!!

    I have 2 AT&T V9's that suffer something worse, and I told my boss awhile back, who has the V9 and agrees, that after 10 minutes of use, the phone drops dead and you have to redial your calls. We both changed from Verizon to AT&T....big mistake.

I notice the Microphone port is in a spot that the fingers sometimes go over (and block voice) as you hold the phone.

Need to block calls on my LG phone


Call blocking is usually a function of the service provider, ie Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T. Check with the service provider to figure out what blocking capabilities your plan allows. Also--if you know it's a crank call, don't listen to the message. Just delete it.

My new Nokia C1-01 is very low on caller volume. I can hardly hear my callers properly. How do I increase the volume so that I can hear my callers properly.


oh! your problem is voice of volume. my dear user make sure your volume button and increase your volume voice.this type problem is creates when we are listen a song at low volume voice and forget to increase volume.

Callers can't hear me when i talk


Look to see if it is Muted. Remember if it says "Unmute" it means it IS muted. Push the button to unmute it. Sometimes it gets bumped accidentally...

The reception sound is exceptionally poor and there is loud crackling. This makes hearing the caller v v difficult. So much that I use my mobile often. Phones are 2 weeks old. HELP


the phones are under warranty if they are only 2 weeks old I would take them to the service providers store and have them get new phones under your factory warranty. When I did mine thru at&t it was completely free and I was having the exact issues and the number 9 would not work 90% of the time, but my phone was 10 months old and warranty from factory is 12 month it covers as long as there is no water damage or no intentional damage like throwing the phone at the wall or some such.. lol...

Caller ID set up and poor audio quality


Set up the callers in your contacts. You must have the area code for the name to show up. You must dial the area code for the name to show up when dialing out.

The hearing problem could be the person you are talking to, if your volume is all the way up. If you are sure that it is you I would talk to a motorola technician. Let me know how it goes.

Voice sound has gone on phone (but ringtones and all other sound working).


there is problem inside ur phone. the speaker which gives sound to listen in caller's voice that has spoiled. take it to technician it need to be replaced
