Small electric kenmore oven

I just moved into a house that has a brand new Kenmore oven (electric)
It's a small oven.. anyway, i was moving it around and the power shut off...
thinking i mustve unplugged it while moving it..i pushed the plug back in...nothing...i then unplugged it and plugged it back in...still nothing.

when i turn one of the burners on,,the clock turns on... i am able to turn on the light and all the buttons work....but the burners do not work...
when i turn the burner knob off..the stove goes dead again.

just wondering...what do u think ive done to it by moving it around?

Sounds like youve shaken or loosened one of the power leads into the oven, check the circuit breakers first, make sure they have not tripped, if not turn off hte breaker and remove the back panel of the stove youre only getting half power to the unit doesnt sound like anything magor at all

We have moved into a house and the Kenmore oven bulb is missing. serial number does not bring anything up

Hi Sair:
It will probably be a "standard" bulb intended for this purpose.
I'd recommend that you record the information about the appliance, and go to the hardware section of your nearest large store. They should be able to match it up for you.

Moved Kenmore electric oven (2 yrs old) and now neither the oven or stovetop heat up. The clock is set.

This may sound silly, but go check your circuit breaker and flip it completely off and then back on. Sometimes it does not completely trip and your clock only needs 120 volts to work which you have, but the heating coils need 240 volts. If you have an older house that has a fuse panel instead of circuit breakers you could have a blown fuse.

Manual needed for Range operation: Specifically timer reset

I found the work-around to be to decrement the timer to 0 as a means of canceling it, "unset it" if you will.

Kenmore electric stove, sparks when one of the four top burners lit-on

the wires for the element must be touching the cabinet causing a short. Pull the oven out and remove the back panel and move the terminals so they arent touching anything

Kenmore Range 911.9324890

Replace recepticles for large elements. It is the part that the heating elements go into. And while you are at the appliance store, pickup a new bake element for your oven. Just unscrew element from oven wall and install new one.
