Hi, I bought a 9000L used, but didn't get the software with it. Does anyone know where/how to get it? Thanks.

What model? Go to this link, select "Multifunction" in the first window, "Inkjet" in the second window, and your model in the third window. Click the Go button and you will be brought to the download page for your model. Wait a few seconds, then in the "Select OS" box, select the operating system your computer is using, e.g., Windows XP. You will then see the files you need to download and install on your computer.

Canon pixma mx420 scanner menu doesn't load

Uninstall the Software from the computer completely and go to http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/printers_multifunction/pixma_mx_series/pixma_mx420#DriversAndSoftware
to download the software again. make sure you delete the old one first through "control Panel" Uninstall Program, etc. Also make sure your printer isn't connected to the computer until after the software has finished installing. Then plug in the printer and see if the menus will show up. let me know how it goes..hope this helps!

We inherited a Multipass C2500. I'm not sure what all it needs to make it work. Is it too old?

You're right -- it is old. It came out about 13 years ago. You can download a manual here and review it to see if it will meet any of your needs. I'm pretty sure that it won't work as anything but a printer with current computers, and even then it would be a very slow printer (rated at 5 ppm for black compared to 30 ppm for a model that came out 2 years ago).

If the printing function works, you can use it as a stand-alone (not connected to a computer) fax machine. Good Luck!

Newer e/w XP Pro Dell computer looses printer connection.

Since there was no answer from your suppory folks I started looking for additional fixes on line and found the following:
From the MultiPASS F80 or F60's Download Library page, download file MP420XPUpdate.exe. Double-clicking the downloaded file, will automatically expand and run the update files to the appropriate directory on your computer's hard drive. Please note that MultiPASS Suite 4.20 must be installed prior to running the update file.
