Pull the power plug as soon as the emacines logo comes on
and if that doesn't work pull out the power as soon as the first windows logo screen comes on. it should then come on and give you the option to start in safe mode or regular mode, choose safe mode then after it comes on in safe mode restart the cpu
then it should come on in regular mode i don't know why it works for my emachines cpu but it does . i'm looking at downloading a error fixing program because i'm doing this almost when ever i turn off my cpu hope this helps if not reformat your hard drive andput windows on again it worked last time i had this problem.

Please reboot pressing F8 to access safe mode. once there see below

You may be a victim of spyware/maleware infections. You will need to have your system cleaned. This should help resolve your issue.

I would recommend trying CCleaner first to see if this helps you. Please keep in mind this will not rid your system of everything just keep you a float and offer you a fighting chance.

Please keep me posted and updated on your issue. I am here for you and will see your issues out till resolved.

Have a great and wonderful day :)

Emachines 5220 will not boot I do not have a recovery disk for it. The emachines logo appears followed by the windows loading page. Then the computer restarts. It will not start in safe mode or any other...

There are many ways. Before windows 7 it might be more difficult but now this OS will not erase your hard disk so you can install it and it willcreata a windows.old folder with your old information and folder system will be intact.

Replaced Mainboard on Emachine w3653, keeps restarting

If it reboots before you make the Windows load screen, chances are it's the power supply. You can go into the BIOS, look at the power setup and with most BIOS's you can watch the DC supplies. If they vary like mad while you're doing this (with the PC effectively in idle), either something is loading down the power supply or it's defective.

If it gets to the Windows startup screen and starts to load, then reboots, it's probably a defective RAM chip.

EMachine recovery disk won't work invalid serial keeps restarting

Restart your computer and as its starting hold F8. This will take you into system restore. Choose Factory Default Restore. This will take your computer back to its original state when it was purchased. You will lose all files that were previously in the unit.

EMachine T3120 keeps rebooting

You can manually download drivers from eMachine's site: http://www.emachines.com/support/product_support.html

The operating system, you'll need a disk...and product key.

Sounds like a reformat may be your only option at this point. How far will the machine boot up? Can you boot up in safe mode?

Can not find restore disk

Did this problem just happen out of the blue? Were you using it and suddenly the PC just up and went belly-up? If so, it sounds like you may have bigger problems than merely a Windows problem. If you don't even see the eMachines logo at bootup before the Windows logo, then something more serious, like a motherboard issue, is your problem. Post back with more specifics, but if you don't see anything at all at booting, like any text or logo or anything, then at the very least the integrated ATI video isn't working. The solution then is either get it fixed with a new motherboard or buy a new one. As this particular model is >1 year old, it won't be under warranty, hence more expensive than it's worth.

On the other hand, did you make any hardware changes that you didn't mention? If so, post back with details.

Computer keeps restarting itself

If you are running XP, try starting in the Safe Mode. To access this, at AC power on, start tapping the F8 key; this should bring up a short text menu that gives you the Safe Mode option. If F8 doesn't work, try F5.
If you can get your desktop, open the Start menu, then All programs, then Accessories, then System Tools, then System restore.
If you have had your Restore feature turned on (it is by default) you chouls be offered the chance to restore your system to an earlier date. These will be shown on a calendar in bold if there are earlier backups available
Choose a date a couple of days before your fuse blew. This restore routine does not lose any work of yours, but essentially checks and replaces corrupt system files and your settings before the roof fell in.
