When I startup my HP 5750 PC, if just makes 5 3short beeps, what is the problem and how do I fix it?

The beeps with have a pattern to them. Listen closely when you first turn the laptop on and listen for the pattern. It might be something like 1-3-2 (1 beep, wait, 3 beeps in a row, wait, 2 beeps) It will repeat for listen for a bit to make sure you have the correct pattern. Once you have that pattern got to the HP webpage, in the support section, in the search type in "beep code errors". It will give you a list of beep patterns and tell you what the problem is. It could be the RAM, it could be another problem with the motherboard; those codes are what you need to have first.

Sounds like a virus, or hard disk drive. Try to boot by pressing F8 to enter the safer mode, check if the beep is still there.

Could be a problem with the RAM. You can do a boot-up RAM test with a CD-ROM or USB stick using Memtest

your hp motherboard may not be compatible with hd 5750.

Remove the memory chip. It was probably either not installed properly or is not compatible with your PC. That should fix your problem.

unplug your memory and reseat it... that should fix the issue

No because the Aircard PC5750 is a PCMCIA slot card, and your laptop has a Next Gen Express Card/ 54 Slot. The Express card slot is smaller than the PCMCIA slot. That makes the PC5750 incompatible.
