the fan is running and there was frost at the bottom where the defrost unit is.
I have the same problem.

I have the same problem as well, except that the model number of my fridge is 106.56536400. The freezer is working fine but the fridge is not cold at all. What can be the problem?

I have a Kenmore side by side refrigerator, model 106.55616400. The refrigerator side will warm to about 45 to 50 degrees. The inside bottom back of the freezer section with have heavy frost on it.

There is frost on the inside of the back of the freezer. The refrigerator side warms to about 45 or 50 degrees.

then remove the panel that has the frost on it the heater and bi metel will be there

the refrigerater gets it's cooling form the freezer.
The channel that the cold air gets over to the frige side is frozen up. Try unpluging for 12 hours.

This thaws out the channel. Ours does this once a month.
