I have just replaced the dvd laser in my machine (samsung dvd-v70 dvd-vcr combo).when i insert a dvd in the machine i get an on screen message "no Disk". i have tried numerous disks all originals, with the same result.

- Thanks Dan you are the man,i removed the bridge as you suggested and my dvd player is now working 100%.
