It might be better to replace the machine with a laserjet 4000 much better machine and higher DPI 1200DPI in fact, however go to www.printerworks.com for help, they might sorce you a power supply other wise get yourself a laserjet 4000. much better model.

I think the laserjet III series and its variants are going to the tooth now.

Replace supplies?


If it is an inkjet, and the paper is not low, then it means the ink. If it is a laser printer and the paper is not low, it means the toner.

Just bought a HP p1505 and am running OSX 10.5.7 with iwork 09 and Mac:office 09 and can only print from office. I just get lines across the page when printing from pages or numbers, thoughts?

This happens when the drivers get corrupt of over read by some other application. Not sure why this happened for you. Would request you to download the fresh drivers and then install it.
