Hi. This is a very simple machine. if you can't get nunmbers, try typing them in each different mode (i.e can you get them if you try in PROGRAM, X, or Z mode?) It can be a printer lockup, as it won't allow operation if the printer is jammed. If you turn it on at the wall while in REG mode, you should hear the printer run once. If not, that's your problem. Otherwise I'd say you have keyboard failure - drink spilt in it??

Turn the key to REG mode Type the amount to add (dollars and cents with NO decimal point e.g $5.50 = 550) Press a department button (the ones to the right of the numeric pad) Type the next price, then press a dept button again Press CASH (CA) when finished

How do I take the beep noise off of the casio PCR-262, its not an error I just don't like the noise.

Some models allow you to turn the beep off in programming, but this is a very simple machine so it doesn't have that feature. If you take the machine apart and press a few buttons, you will be able to find the beeper on the circuit board (usually little black device with a hole in it). Stuff something in the hole, or put some tape over it and you will reduce the sound a lot.

You need to find a Casio dealer in your area. They will probably have one in stock.

Casio cash register PCR-262

Hi.
Casio usually call it a takeup reel. It must be purchased from a Casio dealer so just look up your local Casio cash register supplier and they can order one for you.
