My GE spacemake microwave quit working after popcorn was burned badly. The plate no longer rotates. When I start the microwave, the exhaust fan comes on, but the mircowave doesn't. Is there a way to fix this or do we have to buy a new one?

Sorry but your microwave is fried. The cost of repair will be more than the cost of replacement. This is a common problem. Happens alot with popcorn also. J.

Sadly popcorn kills more microwave ovens than peiple imagine. You can get an estimate on a repair but I believe you will probably decide in the end to replace it. Same exact thing happened to me............expensive popcorn!!
