Thr LCD projector was powered down after use,
the light was off and the fan was still working.
Somebody accidentally pulled the power cord and the unit
was disconnected from power - and died.
I assume the shock could damage the lamp but ..
now no any LEDs are on, including the one that indicates Lamp/cover problem.
Connection of the power cord makes a typical capacitor charge
("static" noise) sound , all internal fuses are fine but the power
supply does not turn on, it seems like the PS died but it hard to
believe it did not survive the power surge.
Do you thing replacing lamp can make any sense?
Did anyone met similar problem?

Hi there
Replacing the lamp won't make any difference at all.
If you have checked the fuse on the Powersupply Board and it tested ok , then the whole Board will need replacement.
