I know on my samsung it's right on top when you take off the outer cover. I also have an emerson and it's on the right side behind the control panel There is a white plastic cover over the fuse that just snaps apart.. I buy my fuses at radio shack. I know mine takes a 20 amp 250 volt.

I have samsung microwave model MW830WA 120V 60HZ 800W, i want to use it in India how to convert the power supply,

What is India's voltage? watts doesn't matter and there may be a range on the Hz. Most likely if the voltage is higher you will need a step-up transformer - external. replacing the internal transformer is not recommended unless you know exactly what you are doing and have the correct one. Compare prices to a new microwave there. If you are very lucky there maybe a voltage switch on the back near the power cord.

Why power does not come on when put on?

Could have a blown fuse. All microwaves have a fuse inside. Do you have power in the wall receptacle?

GE microwave fuse model jes532wn rating 15v but what voltage rating: 120v or 240v ?.thanks

fuses do not have voltage ratings they are a current device. the 15 V does not make sense. It might be 15 A which is the current rating. A standing for Ampere which is the maximum current named after the discoverer of current creating magnetic fields being Andr?-Marie Amp?re in 1826. The 120v or 240v relates to the transformer design in the microwave. The transformer would be design to run on 240V AC 50 HZ AC like in Oz and UK or 120V 60 Hhz AC like used in the USA out of the power point from the power company.
Also the current relates to the voltage. So voltage divided by circuit resistance equals current.denoted by the formula I = V/R

What is the wattage for the white westinghouse microwave model wmw 17779

White-westinghouse 0.7 cu-ft microwave oven has an output power of 700 watts.
Power source for USA is 1200 watts at 120v/60Hz.
Most food cooking directions are based upon a 1100 watt microwave oven output..
You can roughly adapt cooking directions by multiplying times 1.6.

So if directions say 6 1/2 minutes at 1100w, cook for 10 minutes 24 seconds, or 10.4.minutes [roughly]

Can't find the power loss in microwave after fuse, switch check.

Sounds more like the transformer could be bad. Very easy to check. See my tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r4318968-check_high_voltage_transformer_in . Let me know if you need more help.

I have a Sunbeam Microwave Oven SMW777 - 120V-60Hz. It stopped working two weeks ago - - I can set the time for the clock function but it will not cook/heat anything - won't allow me to set a time to cook...

In all likelihood the mangnetron has failed, or perhaps even the Power Supply. You need to have it serviced by a reputable service centre/man.
Ensure you get a firm "Quote" before proceeding, and remember these days the cost of repair can equal or exceed the price of a new one.
