Did you replaced lamp in tv recently?
If not, replace it. Lamp replacement procedure would be written in user manual and please buy Sony original lamp for better result.
Thanks.

YOU NEED TO RESET THE TV. USE A PAPER CLIP TO HOLD DOWN THE BUTTON, AFTER THE LIGHT FLASHES FOR ABOUT ONE MINUTE YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO TURN ON THE TV.

52'' sony tv rear projection turns blue

it sounds like the blue crt is failing Pull the front off and turn the tv on
When it still has a good picture tap the blue crt
if it flashes blue with lines across the screen then you know it is a bad crt

It might not be worth fixing

Good luck
