If you tried sliding the lock icon and it doesnt move in any direction, chances are that the tablet is frozen. In that case, hold the on/off button for about 5 secs until the tablet turn off (it will vibrate as it turns off, this is dif than just pressing the on/off button) or offer you a option to shut it down. Wait a couple of secs, the tablet will show the booting screen and then allow you to work with it, not just show you the lock as soon as you turn it on. If it shows you the lock without the booting screen shown first, mean that you didnt really turned it off. Try holding the on/off button longer.
If nothing works, then you should take it to a repair place.
Thinkpad has a very powerful protection, and entering or trying to enter or access it multiple times will cause it to lock completely, and you will need to change the system board - in other words : you need a new heart or brain for it
because the code you post is for the EEPROM checksum is not correct
so, dumping it might be a solution if you don't have anything important to back up, and even if you did, Very hard to retrieve
hold FN key (bottom left - blue) down and press F9 key...this unlocks screen Fn-F10 will unlock the numeric pad function on the k/b. CapsLk will unlock all caps
Resetting the BIOS password is no easy feat. I'm not very experienced with doing this, but this article I found might be able to get you on the right track: http://www.ja.axxs.net/unlock/
Check if you have any button on panel says about to lock the keys and mouse? Use your manual book if you have one. Lenovo has got this buttons that locks the keys and mouse to prevent unautorized use while you are away. Possible located next to the audio or power button.

Hi,
If you are talking about the Boot, HDD, Bios password, then the only one way to recover it is to implement a chip on the systemboard to shorcut the protection or to contact Lenovo for a systemboard replacement.
Otherwise you can check out theses 2 tutorials, with few skill you can make it yourself:

Thanks and have a nice day

I have had to retrieve the BIOS password from one of these before. It is not an easy thing to get to. You have to first
Build a special 9-pin Serial cable using parts you can find at Radio Shack
Dismantle the laptop
find the correct BIOS chip,
Solder a couple wires to the correct pins of the BIOS chip (without getting solder on the other pins, or damaging something)
Hook it up to another computer via serial port
Do a dump of the information stored on the BIOS chip
Use a hex-reader to decipher the information and display the password within.
Here is a link to a site that shows you in detail how to accomplish this. It does work, and I've successfully used the linked method to unlock a X41 of my own.
