Question about Sony DSR-11 DV / Mini DV VCR
Trying to capture a dvcam tape, the tape wont play thru, it keeps stopping then rewinding saying ive reached the end of the tape. tape problem? Deck problem?
Pete, we are having the same problem with 2 dsr-11s.
The fix for us was the "auto repeat" switch on the back of the unit. It was "on" please turn it off.
The other idea was that the tape tension is very sensitive in the units, try exercising the tape (though exorcise might be good too) by fast-forwarding then rewind the tape start to finish. Tape that were tightly wound at the factory can cause this proble as well. Good Luck. Greg VA
