Motorola W385 Dropped In Water (by 3 users)

posted by flipside82 on Apr 29, 2008

I'm trying to take apart my W385 to see if I can clean it and dry it out, but I'm unable to get the case off so I can clean the screen and remove the internal components. Any ideas? Thanks.

My Moto W 385 went in the wash with bed sheets and comforter but I spotted it before it went in the drier. I'm trying to dry it in the drier.

My Moto W385 went through the wash along with my bed sheets and comforter, but I found it before I put it in the drier. It's not working at all. I'm trying the method flipside82 suggested as I type.

run a dryer full of clean dry clothes, when the clothes are hot turn off the dryer and place the cell phone and battery (seperated) in the center of the clothes I have the exact same phone and it totally dried it out repeat as many times as needed
