I have a premier DS
i have a premier DS 6065, and the shutter is supposed to turn the camera on and off, unfortunately it isn't working, it has done for brief periods but once turned off by taking the batteries out, the shutterno loner works to turn it on again. the batteries are brand new. please help!

- I am having a similar problem with my camera in that it shuts down after taking a flash picture, and no photograph is actually recorded. I initially assumed dead batteries, but find it will do it even with new/charged batteries. It also sometimes takes a long time to take a picture, it starts and has picture on the LCD screen, but when pushing the shutter, it just beeps, no photo.Could this be an internal (clock) battery problem? In Australia my camera is badged as a 'MITSUCA DS 6065' - ArtyShot

Take the camera apart and put it back together again, making sure that the bit of the shutter that pushes the inner switch is aligned to the inner switch. The inner switch, when pushed and held when the camera is dismantled, will turn the camera on - it's on the front at the bottom. It's fairly straightforward to work out how it's supposed to work - you just need quite a fine screwdriver.
