When I open my Comcastemailathome,
within seconds the screen turnswhite. At first Ithoughtitwas just
my email and, perhaps, Iwas bitten by a bug butwhen Iwasworking on my
Outlook calendar, thesame white screenappearedwithinless than 5 minutes.
I can access email at work but not at home.
Is it a bug? Do I have to have my system rebuilt? If so, how can I save everything before I have it fixed?
Stressed.

- DCSH has asked you to clarify your question to best assist with your Comcast email problem: does your problem occur only when you access or open Comcast or outlook
Bummings reply: At first I thought it was just when
I was working on Comcast email, because that is basically all I do on my
computer. But, after the white screen problem
started, when I only had my Windows calendar open and was making changes to
that file, the same thing happened – the screen turned white for no reason. For further clarification, I am
working on HP Pavilion a1 129n AMD 64 Athlon Windows XP, 512 MB SDRAM Memory….. I am at a loss!
Please backup all YOUR DATA onto any media you have upon BOOTING your comp before you attempt to execute any of the programs. The problem what you have does not seem to be hardware related as yet . After you backup Your Data completely you could remove the existing harddisk from your comp , connect ANOTHER HARDDISK or a SPARE HARDDISK that you might have and install the winxp OS followed by your email app., software and perform checks by trying to execute different options . The outcome of this exercise gives you the solution. PLEASE BEAR IN MIND AT THE FIRST OPPORTUNITY TO BOOT YOUR COMP TAKE A COMPLETE BACKUP OF ALL YOUR DATA FOR WHICH YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE WHICH MIGHT HAVE BEEN SEVERAL MAN HOURS OF WORK EITHER MANUALLY OR AUTOMATICALLY WITH THE AID OF BUILT-IN OPTIONS IN COMCAST SOFTWARE.
Do this and let me know I will help you further if required.
