Question about Mitsubishi WD-52725 52". Rear Projection HDTV

1 Answer

WD-52725, Denon 1508 and a PS3

Is any of this stuff compatible? I cant get the PS3 to play on HDMI cables. I'm trying to hook the PS3 to the AV Receiver then into the TV. I have also tried to go directly to the TV. Is this TV not compatible with HDMI? Should I just be using component cables?

really, so HDMI is not really HDMI on these things? I appreciate it. Guess I'll have to go try those. will ig give decent quality for blue ray compared to hdmi?

Which generation playstation are you referring to The PS2 or PS3. The PS2 would be connected with a composite cable by default i.e red white and yellow cable. Connect the cable to the corresponding input on the TV, match color codes. Switch to correct input by using your remote controller. Press the AV button and a list of inputs come's up.Select av1 or av2 and check if you get a picture. If you use a ps3 then same as before press AV button on remote and select appropriate option on screen HDMI,Component or Composite.

Use an HDMI cable. Once you do this your ps3 should ask you if you want to use the HDMI output as default. select yes. Good Luck!

HDMI connection problem

On your TV set remote are you selecting the proper input; for example when you have different devices connected to the back of your tv set, dvd player, vcr, cable box etc; you have to tell the tv which device you want to use by selecting the right one on your tv remove input selection. Hope this was any help.

Cant access "Antenna" in tv menu to change to cable

Hi,
It sounds like you haven't selected cable in the "pull-down" menu. You see, you physically have to tell your tv if you're selecting "over-the-air" programs(free), or cable. Select the cable option &
then run "auto-select". Your tv will go through it's steps & find your cable stations. I hope this helps.
