Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
I had the same problem and went searching - all the feedback suggested that something may be stuck of blocking the paper path. Took the tray out, checked underneath etc - and yes - the problem was a couple of sheets of paper stuck inside. Was able to retrieve these by accessing them from the rear of the printer - and when plugged back in it started up ok!
I believe the cause here was that a print job was sent to the printer while it was also being used to copy stuff - though i cant be sure of this. Either way, it was a blockage that cased the problem.
All the best - JB

Usually it is a paperfeed error, but...we found that lubricating the gears helps out a lot. also check your infra sensors if it's lodged with ink or something. some contact cleaner on the sensors should fix your problem. cheers!
