Question about Remote Controls

Hisense remote does not work with hisense tv

Hi guys! I have a Hisense tl3220hd tv. I have two identical remote controls (both Hisense HYDFSR-A205EA), and I can't get either to work with the tv. Any advice on how I can reprogram the remote?

Thank you for your response, but it didn't work just yet. Here are the steps I took:

    1) Went to http://www.hifi-remote.com/ofa/codes-tv.... but Hisense is not listed as a TV brand there, so there's no code.

    2) Hit "TV1" on my remote; the red light blinked. Then I held down the "set" button (there is no "setup" button"). I kept holding "set" but the red LED did not blink at all, let alone twice.

    Any more ideas?

You can find the remote control codes for different brands of devices from
http://www.hifi-remote.com/ofa/codes-tv.shtml#tv

If none of the codes work then we have two other solutions:

1. Searching For Your Code

If you have tried all of the set-up codes for your brand of equipment ,or your brand is not listed, and you are still not able to get the unit to respond, try the following procedure to search for your code.
If you don't find a code that works, the remote will flash four times when you reach the end of all the codes for this device type.

  1. PRESS the button for the device you want to program, (TV, VCR, CABLE, etc.), then RELEASE.
  2. PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED flashes twice, then RELEASE.
  3. ENTER 9-9-1 (two blinks on the remote)
  4. ALTERNATE slowly between the POWER key and the DEVICE (TV, VCR, CABLE, etc.) button until your device turns off. (On VCR, LD, and CD players use PLAY instead of POWER)
Make sure that the remote is pointed at your device during the search, You may have to press this sequences of buttons up to 100 times to search the entire library of codes.
  5. When your device turns OFF, PRESS the SETUP button and RELEASE it to lock in the code for your device.

2. Learn the buttons from the original

Line up your original remote and the head-to-head before completing the following steps.
  1. PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED flashes twice.
  2. PRESS 9 - 7 - 5, the red LED will flash twice.
  3. PRESS the DEVICE key where you wish to learn the function. The next 3 steps must be completed within 10 seconds.
  4. PRESS the button that will receive the learned function, the LED will flash rapidly.
  5. PRESS the button on the original remote to be learned.

Now you can repeat steps 3 through 5 to learn other functions onto other keys or press and hold SETUP until the Cinema's red light flashes twice to lock in your new feature. (If the red light does not blink twice, stop and repeat steps through 6).
To test the new feature, press and release the device key in which the new feature was learned followed by the key on which the feature was learned

Looks like the remotes are kaput. Get yourself a universal remote and try this:

    4. ALTERNATE slowly between the POWER key and the DEVICE (TV,
VCR, CABLE, etc.) button until your device turns off. (On VCR, LD, and
CD players use PLAY instead of POWER)
Make sure that the remote is
pointed at your device during the search, You may have to press this
sequences of buttons up to 100 times to search the entire library of
      codes.

    5. When your device turns OFF, PRESS the SETUP button and RELEASE it to
lock in the code for your device.

    Blinking Back the Code:

    1. PRESS the device, (TV, VCR, CABLE, etc.), button - RELEASE

    2. PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED flashes twice,
      then RELEASE.

    3. PRESS 9 - 9 - 0.

    4. PRESS 1, carefully COUNT the number of blinks. (1st digit)

    5. PRESS 2, carefully COUNT the number of blinks. (2nd digit)

    6. PRESS 3, carefully COUNT the number of blinks. (3rd digit)

    7. PRESS 4, carefully COUNT the number of blinks. (4th digit)
If the remote DOES NOT blink it means the number is 0.

This is your 4-digit setup code.

I have hisense lcd42v78p and the remote control hisense er-31607a how can i use it because if i press the button the light coming on but not working on TV

The light comes On; means the remote control functions well; The fault is with the TV itself. Its remote signal sensor section circuit too is functioning well; otherwise the light might not light up.
The fault is with its main system control section circuit. Troubleshooting this section circuit is not an easy work
as you thinks. It is much complicated; and even an experienced service technician might take some time to locate the exact fault point, and the component.
So; it will be best to contact any service technician, or the authorized service center in this case.
