Hello, i have the v3xx with. It has a mp3 player. I have a 2gb micro sd in it . I cant figure out how to put music on phone so i can use the player. Also when i hook it to the computer it dosent do anything and the comp dosent know its there?? Thanks
I finally figured out the solution to our problem. Just format the memory card before you transfer the mp3s or any other files to your V3xx. The files can be of ANY size and stereo too. Make sure the bitrate is NOt more than 128K. The video files have to be converted to 3GP format. Enjoy :)
All right so you purchased the memory sticks and the usb cord so your good to go first thing is the small memory stick needs to go in the phone so to do this remove the back cover of the razor and there should be underneath the battery left to the sim card a slot insert the memory stick in the slot(follow the arrows) attach the cover. next take the larger of the memory stick or the adapter and if computer compatible insert into computer (optional) next take the usb adapter cord insert the large usb side into the computer the other side in to the charge port on the razor. a window should come right up asking ou what to do click view folders now when next window comes up select the folder and drag music into appropriate folder. any further questions or more indepth instructions firstname.lastname@example.org only for actual help no **** please

kk to add music make sure you syn the phone and the cp do the data and all then put .mp3 on all the media files and see if it works. Then if that doesnt go to computor format the card and then put it in the phone. Otherwise you need new stuff.
i recently got the samsung gravity as well and had a 4gb card for it and got the same problem.... from what i have found its not the size of the card its that the phone does not support the (HC - high capicity) micro sd card. I went down and bought a regular 2gb microsd card and popped it in and it works fine. also all you have to do to put music on the card is drag(from your pc) and drop into the music folder(on the sd card). hope this helps. have a great day!!
Under the settings for usb connection type change the setting to memory card connection. This is subject to having a memory card (Micro sd) installed. Otherwise you may have to install motorola phone software into your computer and use this to update files on your phone. Regards, David M-G
If you are in the UK, go to the carphone warehouse. If you are anywhere in America ect, go to any phone shop and ask for Motorola Phone Tools Version 4.0 for your PC. Install the package and upload Via the software program. The package contains a USB lead and the CD for £10 in England. Prices may vary in different countrys.
