I have replaced ink cartridge that was low but it still will not work ,keeps telling me that I need a new cartridge.Saying printer does not have enough ink to ensure printer health. The empty ink cartridge must be replaced to resume.I have replaced and still saying the same thing

    Pls tell me if you are using a refilled ink cartridge. If not , pls. clean the electrical contacts(the one which looks like golden strips and also clean the inside of the socket(in the printer).. now plug the printer back and insert one cartridge after another.. Now, find out when do you get the error message

Press the left arrow and the setup button together..
You will find Support Menu.. press the arrow key to come to Prit test menu.. click ok on that ..
now, press the arrow button to choose Nozzle test..

even after that if it continues to show the error, and if you are not able to print anything from the computer..
You may try by doing a L2 uninstall and then reinstall ..

Its actually asking for Original (as apposed to compatible) cartridges but, if you get decent compatibles they should work. Good luck.

Did you replace the ink cartridge with a new one, or did you refill an old one.

Some printers have a memory and can tell which ink cartridge is in them. This prevents them from easily being fooled into printing with refilled cartridges.

Another option is that you changed the ink cartridge without following the specific guidelines for replacement e.g. To replace the ink cartridge, select replace ink cartridge from the main menu, then open the printer panel when the light flashes X number of times.

You might also try unplugging the printer for a couple of minutes the reset it.

Replaced black ink cartridge and printer keeps asking to replace
The message that persists in saying to "replace black cartridge" could be due to a defective cartridge chip. The chip maintains counts and tells the printer when a new cartridge is installed. If you cartridge is remanufactured, they may have neglected to install a new chip.

Regarding the new fuser not working, I'll have to get back to you on that.

Many 'refilled' cartridges aren't refilled. Try a new c artridge and see what happens. If it still doesn't work, you need a new print head.

Installing ink cartridge
I've had this problem too. The only way to make the message go away is to buy the ink from Dell. Although generic ink cartriges will work the printer will not/can not reset the "low ink" message unless you buy the cartriges directly from Dell. So you can use another brand, but you'll just have to overide the low ink message when it pops up by telling it to continue printing. Then you can tell when the ink is low by seeing it when it prints out.

Ink Cartridge Error
on your cartridges there is a chip that detects if the ink is low. The chip on your yellow cartridge is bad. You should return the cartridge for a new one(if you still have your receipt) or visit a Cartridge World in your area and they can put a new chip on for you

Brother MFC-3360C cyan ink cartridge replace ment
On the front of the cartridge there is a sight tube for the ink, the fax shines a light through this tube to detect the ink.
I wraped a piece of paper around the tube to block the light beam on all the cartridges.
I dont need a processer to tell me if the machine is out of ink, I can work thay out when it stops printing!!
Now tell me you are out of ink you peice of electronic ****.
