i got a pny usb stick, and it was in the back of my computer and i reboted my pc now when i try to open my memory stick it says there is no disk in the driv please insert disc

Do any other devices work in the same USB port as the memory stick?

take the stick out,
Windows_xp
goto the control panel >hardware>device manager
see if the device is listed, usually as a h/d
uninstall it [right mouse click device, menu=uninstal]
unplug the stick!
REBOOT
after reboot, replug stick, cpu should " see " it and should act normal
