Question about Olevia LT32HVM 32 in. LCD Television
The picture is perfect when the screen is on, but it goes black very shortly after startup, and sometimes goes back on and off in no apparent pattern. Sometimes I can manipulate it back on for good by turning the system on and off a few times but it is very unreliable. Any clue as to why this occurs and how it may be fixed?? The lcd inverter board is available from lcdparts.net .
Junk the TV. Mine does pretty much the same thing.
I'm thinking that our 'tremendous savings' at Circuit city was, in fact, the way Olevia unloaded these duds. These TVs should not be doing this. I tried working with the company, and they lied to me. That's why the theory about 'defective model dumping.'
