Ferny28,
This is a common problem on these plasma TV's. The problem resides in the high voltage boards known as the X and Y Sustain boards.. You can purchase them here for a very reasonable price:
http://www.discount-merchant.com/Y-SUSTAIN-FOR-42-PLASMA-TV-PN-6871QYH036A-p/sku9510.htm

The above link is to a Y-SUS board. The X-Sus board is often the 2nd cause of failure and can be found here:
http://www.discount-merchant.com/X-SUSTAIN-6871QZH041B-6870QZE017D-6871QZH052D-p/sku9509.htm

To test which board is failing, you need to check voltage input to the YSUS board first... Input should be 120V from Power supply, output should be above 250V.. Do this test with XSUS disconnected. IF 250+V exists, then XSUS is damaged. If not, then the YSUS is the faulty part.

Keep blowing the main fuse.

To which circuit section did you replaced the fuse? Main power retulator? Just understand, the fuses are used to protect the circuit and TV from any short circuit or over voltage. Without any one of these, no fuse will blow up. If it was due to over voltage, the set should work after a fuse replacement. But here, the fuse blow up again, means, there is some thing shorted component/s. Check which component is shorted, and replace it, before replacing an other fuse. One more thing to say is, never insert a fuse other than specified. The voltage and ampere specification to fuse, will be marked at the circuit board, very near to the fuse clamp. Insert a fuse of same rating only. Using other fuse, rated higher ampere rating, might make things worse.

Had a blown fuse on main board 125V 4A replaced and indicator came on green light flahes twice and goes off

Something else went when the fuse blew---voltage checks are needed and someone needs to check for shorts on the set to ground.

My hitachi 60v710 wont turn on

Have you checked the main fuse to see if its blown? If thts blown its indicating a short if its not blown then cahnces are its the power supply causing the issue since no power indicator is lit. If you need further assistance let me know.

I push power on, tv does not turn on.

The reasons can be many for a power failure, but check on:

1. start by checking the continuity from the plug to the main board.
2.Check the fuse on themain board, if fuse is blown check for shorted circuit. check on surge protector, rectifier, filter capacitor or the SM driver.
3. If the SM is not working then the oscillator IC can be faulty.
4. if the SM power supply works but the main board does not , check voltage to all circuits. check for pico fuses being open.
5. The microprocessor must work on the man board. if so the trigger or indiccation LED will light up.
If no trigger check mP then the drive stages of the projector.
Hope you follow on this advice.

Mitsubishi WS-55819 TV Wont turn on.

code stands for loss of vertical. I had one of these if you can check pico fuses, check the ones on the main power board the one with the 2 convergence amps if any of them are blown then most likely the convergence amps have shorted out.

Not sure.....Check e994 - its a pico fuse on the main board....If its blown the kit will most likely help. If its not blown the problem is elsewhere.

No sound or picture on austar channel

This is most likely the power supply module that has failed, or the main fuse is blown. If the main fuse is blowing, then there is a serious short somewhere in the system.

Power Supply fuse blows HOT checks ok But does have a short somewhere.

I look for an schematic diagram but i was unable to find one. I guess we can try to fix this one the old fashion way without the schematic.
I would suggest to check the voltage regulator for a shorted condition and all the diodes and capacitors near it. If your horizontal transistor is good the short is somewhere the power supply but you can also check any other part that has the B+ 130VDC.
Let me know if you need more assistance.
