After printing any document, any application or even on the internet ia always prints extra blank page. I have tried all types of drivers PS, PCL5e, and PCL6. I've also tried changing USB cable with centronic (LPT) cable. Still didn't solve the problem. Have any solution to this? SOS
Before you get a better answer to me , I hope you would have told us if you are the first person that used it so that we can know if this problem started from the initial point or at the middle time of using the printer
1) Did you add additional memory to the Printer?, if Yes remove and try back. 2) Try you use this printer in another PC 3) Look for HP1300 printer software. 4) It may be a mechanism/paper carriage error which can not be corrected by software unless you change mechanism/paper carriage.

When you get that kind of information those are instructions to the printer. It has been my experience that the drivers loaded for the printer are not the correct ones. Check to make sure that you have the drivers for a HP 5P printer and verify that is what kind a printer you have.
I have a HP Deskjet 1300n printer. I can print my email, pictures and
items off the internet, but cannot print any word documents or notepad
documents. When I print an excel document, I get an incomplete page-the
grid lines will print, and text garbage from a adobe program but not all the text. When I do a test print
page, I get an incomplete text page, but do not know how to solve this.
I have removed and reloaded the printer software-no improvement. There
are no new drivers to be installed.
HI there make sure that the paper tray guides are fully against the paper also try sending the job through the manual feed to see if you get the same problem. If you do not then it maybe that the paper cassette separation pad is worn and will need replacing. If your model has no rubber pad at the front of the cassette then you will have a metal hold over one corner of the paper make sure that when the paper lifts that the paper sits under the silver (Dog Ear) as this acts as a separator.
