I have a flashing orange light next to sign with an ink drop and an E for error message. I have just changed both cartridges, turned the printer of and on and the error message and the orange light are still there.

- i was using only one toner .when toner gets empty i have refilled the toner but,it in smart panel it shows message "Toner exausted " .i think the printer keeps the following records 1.page count 2.Toner Reamining Ink ,3.Date of installation & so on........... .and we have to Reset the page counter so how can i reset it .can any one tel me .howto reset please help me .......- anandgyanbotFeb 21, 2009
- My printer is Samsung ML-1640. It is not working after 2100 copies print. Some one was given me advice for replace toner. But it's toner work well at last page of print. When I am serching what is problem. I find when this printer was printed count more 2099 pages it will stop & you need to replace the toner. But it's very high expance for home user.
