Re: Modem automatically not configured ( Network Adapter)
This happens with almost all the modems and routers. You can try resetting the modem ( you can find the reset button at the back side or underneath the modem ). After the reset, the modem should get auto configured.

Am I correct in asking you whether you are using a bsnl broadband....????
If so you don't need modem drivers. All you have to do is configure a broadband connection from your network connection wizard with your username and password.
you need to re-enter the username and password for the broadband connection. Log in to the router and go through the connection wizard, but you MUST have the name and password that you were given by the provider.
i have dataone siemens c2110 modem, this is new modem, when this installed the pc and showing this command"the modem could not connect in your pc,and not dectect"i have line properly attached in pc to modem.please help me
You dont need any driver to connect with adsl modem. BSNL is normally configured by BSNL so dont reset the modem unless you know how to configure it. You need driver only if you are connecting to computer with USB. For ethernet, there is no need of driver software.
Following is a link where you can get USB modem driver installation guide and driver.......but please make sure that you do not try to install this on SERVICE PACK 3.......because that will not install on service packs.........in case you have service packs for XP installed first uninstall ther service pack........then install the USB modem which is more or less smooth........and you can reinstall service packs afterwards without any conflict later on after the installation is complete.........this is the way I was able to install this modem driver on my PC.......
