Question about Computers & Internet
It is not hard to change the name of your wireless network. Well, not hard as long as you have the IP addy for the router and you have the log in and pasword if it is pasword protected. Simply put in the router IP address in your Internet Explorer window like a web addy... most times the addy is 192.168.1.1 If your router is pasword protected it will bring up a login window. Put in the login and pasword and you are in. The main page will list all the information on the router including the name of the network, simply change the network name and then save the changes. And presto bango. Hope this helps.
