I had this problem this evening. Just wondering if the repair work that was done has solved your problem completely. I'm 5 months out of warranty, so I expect the bill to fix this issue to be outrageous. Were you still under warranty? Can you tell exactly what the technician fixed, also what he told you to do to shut off the dispenser. I'm thinking, I should shut it off whenever I leave the damn house now! Anyways, any detailed info as to what was done, how much it cost, etc. would be helpful. I've heard and experienced horror stories of techs that come out and have absolutely no clue and just start changing stuff at our cost.

We have a ZISS420DR1SS and had the spontaneous spewing of water from
the door dispenser occur today. Fortunately, the basement below the
affected area is unfinished, but we expect problems with our kitchen
hardwood flooring.
We're thinking this problem was somehow caused by the fixing of several
other problems in the past two weeks. Since the unit was freezing food
in the refrigerator portion, GE service replaced the system board.
Since the ice maker's water level was too high, ice cubes were sticking
to each other and clogging the ice dispenser. GE replaced the ice
dispenser too.
Unless GE comes back with a really good story about how this issue
won't happen again, we can't afford to keep the unit and live with the
constant threat of a flooded home. So we're faced with fixing our
flooring (if it doesn't return to normal) AND buying a non-GE
replacement. I really hope that we can get a refund from GE and
coverage of our floor repair.
(I should note that we had a similar, but older counter depth monogram
unit for 5 years in our previous home and didn't have any of these
issues. However, given the severity of water flooding, there is no way
that I would purchase another GE unit.)
