Question about Toshiba Qosmio G25-AV513 Notebook

Removing dust from Toshiba Qosmio G25

Sir, in your recent post you mentioned that you can provide instructions regarding safe dissassembling and rassembling of Toshiba Qosmio G25 in order to clean the dust. I also need to replace one of the fans that makes a terrible noise (I can mail you the recording of that sound if you give me your email so you could listen and probably say what the heck is wrong with it)
Also, if you can give me any idea where to order a new DVDRW drive for that model, because my existing drive completely died.
Very sinceely, Asher

Fan grew loud ana has now failed - system shuts down with a cooling system failure. I need to open this thing up and get at the part but cannt find any directions or method to get to the fan. It is like a jig saw puzzle and I do noit want to break it.

I hear noise coming from the back vents and I think it might be the processor fan. Is there a way to fix/clean it so that noise goes away and do I have to open it from the bottom? This is for Qosmio G25.

You probably need to replace the cooling fan, but you can try cleaning it out first. Get a can of compressed air or use an air compressor to spray pressurized air into the vent to spray dust out. If this doesn't work, you probably need to replace the fan. I actually found a guide for opening up the Qosmio G25 and replacing or cleaning the cooling fan. Check it out:

How can i get ethernet driver for toshiba laptopsa

You can obtain Ethernet drivers from Toshiba eSupport.

If the Toshiba laptop in question is the Toshiba Qosmio G25 Notebook PC, here is the Drivers download page,

http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=SB&os=&category=&moid=1021511&rpn=PQG20U&modelFilter=G25-AV513&selCategory=2756709&selFamily=804517

(The LAN driver is what you seek)

Hi i have problem with toshiba qosmio g25-av513 when i power on its show clear QOSMIO monogram and then start show saverl difrent colurs lines i try with external monitor show same .pls help me to fix this...

You can try downloading the most recent video drivers from the nvidia web site and installing them.

Other than that you would probably need to contact Toshiba tech support. Based on the information you provided it sounds like your video card is having a hardware issue. It's the reason you see the same lines on both monitors.

Yes.. First of all you are entitled to open the case only if your lapotop is not covered by any means warranty.. If you open it when it has a warranty, the warranty becomes void.. and moreover there are many complications n opening it.. so i suggest you to give it to a system engineer.. but if u want to do it by urself.. i shalll tell u the steps.. mail me..
