There should be some adjustment in the door hinges. Check the hinges to make sure the pin that enters the door is not broken. If it is, dril out the pin and replace it with a small bolt, put two nuts on the bolt and use the top nut to adjust the hight of the door.

How do a fix a Westinghouse fridge door that has dropped slightly

Hinge screws probably loose. Refrigerator doors have hinges screwed on the outside. The hinges allow for you to move door to be level, loosen screws, move door level and hold it there till you tighten screws. Sometimes the hinges are covered with a plastic piece that you pry gently up on to remove.

How to repair a refrigerator

There is generally two causes: 1 - the refrigerant system (compressor or coolant) or 2 - a leak through the seal around the door. The second issue (which is more of a DIY fix-it than the first) can be from 3 causes: 1 - the seal around the door is worn, warped or loose. 2 - the door is out of alignment. 3 - the appliance (frig or freezer) is not level, causing the door to be warped. Start with #3. Get a level and check that the appliance is level. If not, adjust the legs until it is. Did that fix the problem? If not, check if the door is out of alignment. If not, try replacing the seal. If none of these were the issue, consider the age of the appliance. It may be more cost effective to buy a new one than try to repair/replace the coolant system.

Put up suncast shed and the doors dont quite match up when you go to close them... any fixes

When I have this problem with doors I try to place a shim under one side to help level it or raise it up. Sometimes level surface plus uneven doors equal no closings.

MZD2766GEQ - MAYTAG Side-by-side refrigerator fresh food door will not stay closed? hinge or gasket? inside seal?

Normally the most common fix for the doors is to level the cabinet. Leveling the cabinet will also adjust the doors to help level them and help them close properly.

To Whom It May Concern: I've a KSRS25QXWH11 Suberba Refrig. The doors will NOT close on their own. How do I adjust? Thanx in advance. Peter L. Poses ~~ .

There is a debate on that subject. Left and right sides should be level and the front use a level on the frame not the doors. If you face the refrigerator the top should lean back toward the wall behind the refrigerator just enough to bring the front out of level. And using a level sounds like what you need unless the doors are loose and sagging. Then I would want you to get that fixed first. When you open the doors and let go from straight out to you level for a refrigerator is when the doors will slowly close on their own. I will try to find more information. Thanks, Sea Breeze

GE Side by Side Frig Door Flies Open to Far

Look under the front of the fridge, should be some adjustments to raise and lower the wheels or feet for leveling. Level it with a level on the top, should help keep the doors from swinging.
