PNY 4GB Secure Digital High Capacity Memory Card

Unable to access files on the flash drive (by 6 users)

posted by dalangels on Apr 29, 2008

Used the flash drive for digital pictures. When we insert the drive into the laptop, we are unable to access the drive. We have other flash drives that work correctly. Guessing I need a driver but unable to locate one. Any ideas on how to get the PNY flash drive working?

Same situation with the 2gb card purchased to use in my NIkon D40. Has worked just fine until yesterday. Right in the middle of taking some pictures it just all of a sudden went blank and read "This memory card cannot be used. Card may be damaged. Insert another card." Tried to read card from several pc's and got nothing. I desperately need help in retrieving those pictures, let alone get this card to work again after 6 months of minimal use!!

Have photos on a 1gig PNY card The card has stopped working & a message on the rear viewer of the camera reads "card cannot be used may be damaged "
When putting the card into the computer slot the computer wont reconise the card at all
Other cards still work fine
But we need to recover the info

I have a Palm Treo 700W that I use and the SanDisk 512mb SD card works fine. However I just bought a PNY Optima SD HC 4gb card that my phone does not recognize. Do you have anything that I can do to get it to work on my phone?

I have a new laptop. When I put the SDHC in the drive, the drive doesn't respond or read the memory card. I also put it in my USB card reader, and it didn't recognize then either. Can you help me?

SDHC cards are not backward compatible with normal SD cards..therefore older devices will not recognise them...your built in card reader is probably not sdhc...try downloading directly from camera or use a sdhc usb card reader
