Question about IBM ThinkPad T30 2366 Notebook
The original LCD of my 2633 was likely a 1280 x 768 and the LCD I put in to replace it appears to be a 1400 x..... The LCD display does not hold the entire contents of the display. Its as if the actual screen were about twice what the LCD could display. External works fine. Is there a way to correct this problem so the laptop-LCD display is usuable again? Right now the only way to make the machine useful is to use an external monitor.
Try going to the Lenovo website and download the latest drivers for the video/ LCD display.

You might want to Flash the BIOS with the latest revision if this is a newer LCD.

Yes you can do that by trying to set the sesolution settting.
Step for setting up screen resolution
1.Click start-->Settings-->Conteol Panel-->Display
2.Under Display Properties window click the last tab name settings
3.Below you should be able to see Screen Resolution
4.Try to adjust the resolution here.
** Please try to reduce the resolution ...or sometime add more resolution

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
