Front load he3 kenmore, control panel had an F now is locked up! Have unplugged for 30 min. no change

Hello,
I just experienced a similar problem, getting an F21 error and 5d.
F21 error was a clogged drain. Unplug firest, then remove the lower front panel (it may be from the back panel) and look for a drain valve. unscrew and clean out good. I found approx $6 in change, keys, bobby pins, hair clips, etc. then put all back together and run a cycle empty. Save myself $250 I dont have and did it myself. This website is wonderful.

Amana NFW7200TW washer - door seal ring has detached

The ring is a clamp that keeps the rubber part, called the bellow, attached to the front panel of the washer. To reinstall hook the edge of the bellow around the lip of the opening in the front panel (the hole through which you put your laundry). Then take the clamp and seat it in the groove of the bellow behind the lip of the front panel. The spring on the clamp should pull the bellow tight to the opening of the panel.

Kenmore HE3 washer problem. F11 flashes at the spin cycle

If this is showing up as an intermitten problem, chances are that it is just a loose connection.

The F11 code indicates a Serial Communication Error. In english this means that there is a problem communicating with your CCU (the main computer for your washer) and the MCU (the motor control unit).

First remove the top panel (3 torx screws along the top of the back of the washer. If you don't have a torx 15 bit a 1/4 inch nut driver will do the tick)

The CCU is the large white box with all the wires connected to it. It will be on the right hand side of the washer. Check all the connections here first. If everything seems in order then check the MCU next.

To check the MCU, remove the kick panel on the bottom of the front of the washer. Again this is 3 torx head screws holding this on.

The MCU is located on the left hand side right against the side panel. It's white in colour. The connectors will be underneath a little flap (just push it up, there is nothing that is clipped to it). Check these connections.

If you have not found a loose connection your best bet is to call for service. At this point it'll be either the MCU that's failed or the CCU. Without doing certain tests to it it's impossible to know which one.

Good luck! Please let me know if this was helpful!

Control Panel

did you ever get this fixed? I think it may have to do with the control panel or part #18 in the book which is part 134207700

please let me know....mine stays on HOT...but I finally unplugged it long enough and now I can only get COLD water. the part seems to have gone down on price so I think I will give it a try myself and hope for the best... tracyjos@hotmail.com

Roper washing machine

it depends on your model but either way there are two screws in the front or back of your control panel back them out far as you can pull the control panel slightly forward and tilt it back then you will see two gold clips on the washer body pay attention how they go in there pop them out with a screw driver tilt the washer forward have someone hold it should be able to look underneath and get to the switch
