Many washers squeal when spin starts. A new belt usually solves it. A bit of belt dressing for car fan belts works wonders. **unplug it while you apply belt dressing!
There is usually a tension adjustment by moving the motor mount back a small amount. Don't over do the tension.

Hi just read your posting.Good to hear from someone in Australia.I assume you are in Australia being a Bronco"s fan.Now to your machine.Did you check the power point with a small appliance such as a toaster ?If you have power to the machine and it does not power up then the fault could be either your ON/OFF switch or your computer board is faulty. Is your machine the model with all the buttons instead of a timer knob?Have you or can you borrow an electrical test meter to test the switch? Please reply with the additional information on the questions and I am sure I can help you further.

It appears your timer/main controller/CCU has failed in this instance.
For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...
FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.
PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.
If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.
Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.
If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.
Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question !!!!

SOURCE: Looking or a service manual
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Unfortunately this forum does not supply any type of manual, installation instructions, electrical or schematic diagrams direct; it's just made up of ordinary guys and gals, probably at home and from all over the world, with experience of addressing problems and giving guidance for free on the web ;-0)
You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make) washer service manual' and you may be presented with a number of sources from which you can either download for free or have to pay a nominal amount. During the process you will be asked for the actual model number!
May I also suggest you try the manufacturer's web site direct? You may find, however, that it will supply schematics only to service engineers but good luck anyway.
