Question about Televison & Video
I have a Sony Wega KV-40xrb800, when on, looks great and sounds great. But recently I have problems turning it back on. Oh yes, eventually it will turn back on, but I find myself keeping it turn on for days at a time and afair to turn it off again. (is there problems with over heating with this set.)
What can I do and how much do you think that it will cost to repair, if needed.
You are likely to have two IC's bad. Both are part number MCZ3001D in the power supply. Must be unsoldered and new soldered in. A common problem Parts costs about $40 both total. and most technicans would charge about $55 to $75 labor plus a service call depending on your location. It can be repaired in the home and recommended to do this because of its tremendous weight
