Try connecting the camera directly to the computer, without going through a hub. If that doesn't work, then buy a card reader.

Successfully installing Hyper-Utility2 on my Mac

Hi Paula,

Something that happens with Macs is the file permissions get messed up from installer programs. This problem usually can be corrected by running the disk tools program. It is usually located in your Applications folder in the Utilities sub folder.

You did not specify with version of OSX your Powerbook Pro is running. Make sure you have all the updates from Apple for your OS. You might also need to get an update from Fuji for the Hyper-Utility2 software. That can be found here: Fuji

Lastly, iPhoto is compatible for quick downloads from your camera

Vivicam V15 software not compatible with my iMac OSX 10.5.8, even though the pkg says it is compatible with iMac's with intel. Tech support is a laugh, thick accent, and kept hanging up on me.

This camera is not compatible with non-Intel Macs no matter WHAT version of OS it claims to support. In addition it takes crummy photos AND has no flash memory, so, assuming you ever DO get the software and a computer to work in tandem, you have to do it before your two little AAA batteries go belly-up or it will erase all your photos. So don't try and change the batteries before you get your pictures off or your photos are history.
My advice is to take it back to the store and buy a real camera. Even the 10 dollar disposable cameras are a better deal than this loser of a camera.

Purchased QuickCam Pro 9000. Install Disk gets to a point of loading drivers then I get a 1722 error. Have an IBM T60 Laptop running XP.

I had similar problems when installing this camera under XP, so I went to the Logitech website and downloaded the installer program directly from there.

When I ran the downloaded program the camera installed first go.

CD400 and imac

I have a mac and never need to finalize the disc. All I do is hook up the USB to the camera and the computer, then turn on the camera and the application called Image Capture will come on automatically, you can download some of the pics or all. They will go into a folder you choose. HTH

Cannot see Mpeg4 on my IMac

Use VLC Media Player: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ This is a 'universal' media player, so you can now, if you want, use just this player all on its own for all your videos of whatever file extension. The required codecs are included in the download. Nevertheless I'm still keeping Windows Media Player 10, QuickTime player, RealOne player and DivX player for the odd occasions when one of these has to be deployed. So far, no such an occasion has arisen! By the way, there is a dearth of V700 video on the net. So, please let us know your assessment of the V700 videos once you get it working on the VLC Media Player.
