Have the vehicle scanned for codes. there is a module on your vehicle called the "integrated power module". this is what controls many of your lighting components and other accessories. any codes found here will be helpful in telling you where to begin looking for your problem - sounds like a wiring / computer problem. good luck!

It could be a defective sensor for something which is causing it to trip over small bumps or on slight hills.

1998 jeep grand cherokee dome lights flash while

You have an exposer in the wire somewhere touching metal. I would assume in the door where the wires loom into the rubber seal but you will have to trace the short down. Or pay a mechanic $65-$90 hour do it for you.

While I am driving my 2005 jeep grand cherokee the dashboard/warning lights flash like they do when the car is in the "on" position, they flash on and off while I am driving down the road but the...

I had the same exact problem and jeep looked at it over a dozen times. Jeep replaced the ignition switch and computer but they could never reproduce the problem, of course. I kept bothering Jeep until they replaced part of the wiring harness between the ignition switch the next conection. Problem solved. I had always said that it was a short in the wiring harness but they are too reliant on the in dash computer to tell them the problem. I hope this helps. P.S. this problem will kill your battery.

Loud whistling noise while driving.

I think there is a TSB on that problem. If the wind is coming from the passanger side then roll the window all the way down. Put a 2X4 in the door jam. So the 2X4 will be inbetween the the door and the jeep. Push on the top of the door like you are trying to close the door. What you are trying to do and slightly bend the top of the door toward the jeep. But just do it a little at a time.
