Sounds like soda or juice was spilled on it. It may get easier as time goes on but if not you'll either have to replace it or disassemble it to clean it. Don't try that if you're not comfortable with working on delicate electronics.

I've had my Lite-On LH-20A1S SATA connector optical drive for about three years, and in the past year or so it had become difficult to get the tray to open whether there was a disc in it or not. I had to push the button very hard and hold it for several seconds, releasing it, pushing it and doing this three or more times to get the tray to open. Then, in the past couple of months, closing the tray has become difficult, needing to push and hold the button very firmly. Even a paper clip would not open the tray, nor did using computer to "eject" to open the tra

First 8 keys on my Casio CTk 495 keyboard are malfunctioning when I press the 1st key in Casio Ctk 495 instead in one key will be push in became 2 keys are press instead of 1 key. Its in Normal Mode How...

There ARE a couple of reasons ant "keyboard" could
fail in "OCTETS" (as you stated "eight" keys)...

Generally ...
all DIGITAL communications is done in BINARY...

The most ADVANCED computer in the world can
only count to "ONE"...

Conveniently... BINARY is best represented to the
human (raw) interface in either "OCTAL"
or "HEXIDECIMAL"... (either in "bus" connections
or LOGIC (chip) interfaces to those "BUSSES")...!!

So if you want to start looking for .
your trouble... first try to remember where/when
that drink (cocoa, tea, coffee or ... soda) got poured
on the KEYBOARD...

LOOK there FIRST.

Be SURE TO WEAR an ANTI-STATIC wrist band...
ELSE... You will be creating more trouble a you
(mis-)handle highly sensitive semi-conductors...

Hope this helps

Certain keys on samsung N150 not working. space bar 2 key 3 key G letter key

Some dust or liquid must have entered or dropped on the keyboard. If it is just dust try using a compressed-air spray canister to blow in the space around the key.

If that does not work you can use a thin knife or flat screwdriver to pry the keys off. Do that with the 3 key first as the space bar is more difficult to put back in - there are a couple of springs that have to be fitted just right. Clean away any dirt and push the key in place.

If it is a liquid then you must open the entire keyboard panel and clean it from the inside. If you have the confidence and skill to do that you can try searching samsung support about how to do that. It is not that difficult if you follow the instructions carefully, but if you yank the flat cable connector off it may be difficult for you to snap it back in.Otherwise ask for professional repair.
