Re: i need help
If warranty - call it in. Otherwise it sounds like a classic case of bad ram. Find a friend with similar ram in his/her desktop and do a test swap to see if symptoms repeat if you want. Then replace the ram with new. It happens for no reason, or at least nothing you did caused it. Basically it's a page in or out error with the ram causing windows to "freak out" and pop up an error. You can get a good selection of ram from tigerdirect.com or newegg.com.

When you say computer clock do you mean the LED read out on the mother board? if so the numbers you are seeing are error codes you will need the mother board manual to know what those codes mean. If you don't have the manual it's possible you can go to the mother board manufacturers web site and download one then you can look up the codes to see what the problems are. Hope this helps

Try hitting the "Windows" key on your keyboard to bring it out of sleep mode. The "Windows" key is generally found on the bottom row of the keyboard, near the Alt and Ctrl keys, and it has no letters on it, just the Windows logo. That key brings my Windows Vista machines out of sleep mode when other keys won't.
As for the power button, anytime you need to force a computer to turn off, you can press and hold the power button to do so. Usually, you need to hold the power button for 5-10 seconds and it will shut down. Use this option with caution, as it turns the computer off without running through the shutdown process and can cause you to lose data.
