Question about Sony Cybershot DSC-T200 Digital Camera
My Sony DSC-T200 is brand new but for some reason, the flash won't work. I tried turning it "on" using the digital menu, but it's not an option. Help!
I had the same problem, here is how it was "fixed" on my camera:
Turn the camera on as if to take photos (not to review photos).
Press "Home" (upper left corner)
Press the camera tab (bottom left-most tab)
Press "Scene Selection (SCN)"
Press "OK" at the "Select type of scene" prompt
However, I still don't have flash available in the PGM or AUTO modes, which tells me it is still broken.

You should have the dealer check the camera. The flash unit may be defective.
By default when a camera is new out of the box, it should work as full automatic with the flash.
