NOTHING ON THE FRONT PANEL. I HAVEN'T FOUND THE LOCATION OF ANY FUSE ANYWHERE ON THE UNIT. ENLIGHTEN?

  • dlemke2235 Apr 29, 2008

THERE IS NO CABLE. ARE YOU REFERRING TO THE POWER CORD?

  • dlemke2235 Apr 29, 2008

THE UNIT WAS WORKING JUST FINE, WHEN IT QUIT AS IF THE POWER CORD WAS UNPLUGGED.

  • dlemke2235 Apr 29, 2008

I DONT HAVE A SPARE POWER CORD. BESIDES, THE UNIT HAS TO BE OPENED UP FOR THAT, AND THAT IS A SERVICE MAN'S JOB. WHEN PLUGGED IN TO A LIVE OUTLET, THERE IS A CLICK INSIDE THE UNIT, BUT IT STILL DOES NOT POWER ON.

  • dlemke2235 Apr 29, 2008

I SAW THAT IN MY MANUAL, BUT THAT PROCEDURE ONLY RESETS THE MEMORY, AND POWER IS NEEDED TO DO THAT. I TRIED IT AFTER PLUGGING INTO AN OUTLET, BUT NOTHING IS ON.

  • dlemke2235 Apr 29, 2008

THERE IS NO FUSE SOCKET ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE CASE. IF THERE IS ONE INSIDE THE CASE, THAT AGAIN WOULD BE FOR A SERVICE MAN TO DISCOVER.

  • dlemke2235 Apr 29, 2008

THE POWER RESET DID NOT WORK BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF POWER.

Chances are there bad connectors on the unit itself, have you tried a different cable? try a different cable as well.

Hope that helps

Unplug unit, wait 10 mins then plug back in. If still does not work, check for breaker trip. Be sure outlet still has power.

I have an Aiwa cx-na707 stereo and need to know how to hook up the super woofers. Are they amplified or do they need external amplification?

I can't find a manual or a good picture but a clue to that would be if the 'super'-woofers have internal amplifiers as evidenced by their own power cords, making them 'active' or if they just have speaker wire conencting them to the main unit (most likely at this level of product).

I have a aiwa cx-na77, how do I connect it to a tv so that I hear the tv sound on the aiwa speakers

If it has an "AUX" input or any other type of RCA jacks for an input, you can connect the TV RCA audio jacks output to the input RCA jacks of the Aiwa.

That's what you would need.

RCA audio outputs on the TV

RCA audio input on the Aiwa

Just look at the back of each unit and see if it has them. RCA audio jacks are the small circular red and white jacks. They will be labed on each unit what they are for. You need output jacks on the TV and input jacks (but not for phono) on the Aiwa.

Broken receiver

I bought my AV-DV75 from Best Buy about 10 years ago and it still works. However it did stop working a while back. I don't know why. I alsmost threw it away. But I unplugged it for a couple of days, then plugged it back up and it came back on. It is still working. Maybe that will work for you.

PS
my center speaker quit working recently. If you decide to sell your AIWA speakers will you please email me?
