Either the valve asm. on the tank is bad, or the tank is cracked.

Bissel Pro Heat carpet cleaner is not suctioning cleaning water off of the carpet back into the tank. How can I fix this?

There is a knob on the base that says floor and tools. Make sure that it is closing when you switch it to floor, Make sure that the hose works when you use it too. That will tell us what the problem is.

My Bissell proheat2x leaks water from bottom of machine, if you have the water tank full and cleaner and leave it sit it drains out onto the floor, it leaks when you are using it to, is this a seal or...

Nope, not a seal problem, just natural good old fashioned natural gravity. I know it doesn\'t take long for it to start leaking after use but Bissell covers this in the manual. Thoroughly clean the unit, run clean rinse water through every cycle and empty all tanks and cavities after use. Do not leave water in any of the tanks when not in use. What doesn\'t leak on your floor (which doesn\'t take long) could cause permanent blockages in the lines. It\'s a pain, I know, but I use the garage or back deck to park and prep mine after use.

I have a blue bissell preheat 2x. While shampooing it will start to leak dirty water. When i'm done shampooing my carpets look even more filthy then when I began. Not sure why this is happening besides...

You should drain the dirty water, you should find where it is stock then drain it. If there's some leak, seal it with an epoxy. Thoroughly clean the inside and you will find there's a stock of old shampoo which causes water to become dirt.
I hope my advice help you.

Whare does the dirty water go in the bissel 12 amp pro heat carpet cleaner

the clean water goes into a "Bladder Bag" that is located inside the tank. The way it is designed to work, as the clean water dispenses from the bladder bag, the outer part around the bladder bag fills with the dirty water. It never touches the clean water. Seems wierd, but it works! I hope this helps, if it does, please give feedback, as it helps me to gain ratings. Thank you! Remember to have your cleaners serviced every year by a qualified tech! Bissell 2x wont **** up the dirty water

take the tank off and turn the unit on and see of there is section where the tank would sit. If so then the tank is not seated correctly, if not it is plugged with something.

Spotbot is leaking...

Mine constantly leaked as well but I found that if I remove the container will the solution in it after every use it doesn't leak anymore. I store my container (upright - nozzle face up) under the sink with my other cleaning products and when I need to use the machine I pull it back out, pop it in and clean.
